Meet Shima
Founder and heart behind B.L.O.O.M Shima is a Qualified Person Centred Counsellor, a woman of deep faith and someone who believes that healing happens when you’re met with kindness, not judgment. The journey began when Shima faced one of the most difficult seasons of her life. Through her own healing process, she discovered a deep passion for helping women who are struggling with anxiety, depression, loneliness and other mental health challenges.
Life often throws unexpected curve balls and we’re rarely prepared for the emotional weight they carry; and no one should have to face those moments alone. Shima understands what it feels like to be overwhelmed and disconnected, and she believes in the power of compassion, connection and support.
Her mission is to help women rediscover the love they may have lost for themselves and find peace within. B.L.O.O.M was created to offer guidance, healing and hope; because every woman deserves to be seen, supported and empowered.
Her calm presence combines professional expertise with personal understanding, meeting women where they are and helping them navigate where they want to be.
Shima is a Registered Member of British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and works in accordance with the BACP Ethical Framework.
Shima doesn’t believe in fixing people, she believes in walking beside them as they reclaim their strength. Her approach is rooted in empathy, faith, and feminine resilience.

B.L.O.O.M began from a deeply personal place through my own experiences of grief, loss and understanding how lonely difficult seasons of life can feel.
What started as a desire to create spaces where women could connect, walk, talk and feel less alone has grown into something much more.
After completing my Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, B.L.O.O.M now brings together counselling, wellbeing and community, offering women a compassionate space where they can feel heard without judgment.
My approach is person-centred, which means I won't tell you how to live your life or assume that I know what is best for you. Instead, I offer a space where you can explore what you're carrying, understand yourself more deeply and move forward in a way that feels right for you.
Grief and loss are particularly close to my heart, alongside supporting women experiencing loneliness, low self-worth, anxiety, life changes and the emotional pressures that can come from family, culture and expectations.
B.L.O.O.M is about having somewhere you don't have to pretend you're okay.
A place to talk, reflect, heal and grow at your own pace.
